Cosedil Energia is an integrated industrial platform operating across the full life cycle of energy infrastructure, from construction design through to operations management, with a primary focus on the build phase. Its goal: to turn the country's energy infrastructure into safe, reliable, and long-term manageable systems.

Cosedil Energia was established by Cosedil S.p.A., its majority shareholder: a company with 60 years of experience delivering works and infrastructure projects across Italy, with deep operational roots in Sicily.

Sicily: strategic centrality

Cosedil S.p.A. is one of the leading civil and infrastructure works contractors headquartered in Sicily, a region at the forefront of renewables and grid connections, with a growing role across several domains: renewable energy hubs (photovoltaic, agri-PV, wind), BESS and grid infrastructure, centre of gravity for new Mediterranean electricity interconnectors, and a key location for digital infrastructure growth (data centres and high-capacity fibre-optic cables).

We operate successfully in one of Italy's most complex permitting environments, which has given us specific expertise in navigating multi-layered authorisation processes.
